ILLINISA NORTH

Moderate Level

Illiniza North 5126 m

2 days, 1 night

Ilinisa South or also known as “Male Hill” is a potentially active stratovolcano, it consists of two snow-covered peaks which gives it a more difficult ascent due to its glacial nature, while the Northern Iliniza requires little climbing experience, and can climb in good weather, like a hiking peak because of its position and geographical structure. Ilinizas are the best mountains for acclimatization in Ecuador.
