Quito, is the second highest capital in the world, is located on the slopes of the Pichincha volcano. It is also known as «Carita de Dios», and was declared by UNESCO as the First Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in 1978. In Ecuador, the historic center of Quito is one of the largest and best preserved in Latin America, a true patrimonial treasure.   • Begin the tour by visiting the Plaza de San Francisco and its church, the Plaza de la Independencia, the Cathedral of Quito, the exterior view of the Presidential Palace, the Church of El Sagrario, The Compañía de Jesús
