Quito, is the second highest capital in the world, is located on the slopes of the Pichincha volcano. It is also known as «Carita de Dios», and was declared by UNESCO as the First Cultural Heritage of Humanity, in 1978. In Ecuador, the historic center of Quito is one of the largest and best preserved in Latin America, a true patrimonial treasure. Churches, museums and cultural centers allow you to discover the history of Ecuador, its richness and cultural and natural diversity, through a wonderful trip. From various perspectives, Quito is a charming city composed of mountains and volcanoes; old alleys decorated by flowery balconies with bohemian airs; the Church of the Company with its gold treasures; El Panecillo that offers a panoramic view; and the city Middle of the World that places travelers at the same time in two hemispheres. The Mariscal Foch distrit and several entertainment sites located throughout the city offer a wide range of nightlife and gastronomic entertainment.

Day Program

  • Begin the tour by visiting the Plaza de San Francisco and its church, the Plaza de la Independencia, the Cathedral of Quito, the exterior view of the Presidential Palace, the Church of El Sagrario, The Compañía de Jesús
  • Continue towards the «Barrio de la Ronda» until we reach the plaza of Santo Domingo with its church
  • Discover two visions of the world (Inca religion and european catholicism) that is beauti fully reflected in the city also known as La Carita de Dios
  • Visit he best panoramic view of Quito from the Panecillo hill crowned by the imposing statue of the Virgin Mary
  • Continue the journey to the monument to the Middle of the World
  • Move to the viewpoint of the volcano Pululahua
  • Return to your destination
